When launching Minga it is important to ensure you follow protocol and procedure for your School and District as well as Provincial, State and Federal requirements regarding the protection and privacy of students personal information. This usually means notifying students and parents around the use of this personal information.

Minga uses student name and student email address as required components to add a student to a Minga. In addition, a student's birthdate can optionally be configured in Minga so they get birthday notifications.

We have included a Notification/Permission Form here to make it easy to notify parents and students of the introduction of Minga at your school.
